Hi Jan I just saw discussion about Dayton, I have I think the original ACR ResQlink and have been using a container I got from Australia but I don’t remember the guys name but it’s pretty big acorn shaped. Yours looks much better. Can you tell me what the cost is on these including shipping? I’m in Utah thank you.

Also is the original ResQlink worth getting serviced it’s 5 years old or are there better options now? Thanks

Hello DiveTy
You must be talking about our DRYFOB-XL

We offer free shipping in the US and the DRYFOB-XL fits most ACR models. It sells for $99.99. If you order direct we have a few custom colors left, but you can also get it at some of the online shops (including Amazon) in Red and blue.

We ship from Miami so Utah would be about 4 days from here. I am leaving Tuesday for a week however so if you’re in a rush I’d ask that you place an order tomorrow.

Thanks for reaching out and feel free to DM me or contact us through Dryfob.com to make sure we get a notification. I just happened to see an addition to this thread and saw your note.

As for the original resqlink I would imagine it’s worth servicing. May have had these for well over 5 years. But if you decide to upgrade you may also find a taker in our classified section on scubaboard. There are many threads on the forum with comments from existing users and knowledgable divers that compare features that may help with your decision.

There is one newer combo plb/ais unit that is 8” long that won’t fit in the XL Dryfob. We do have a TXL (although it is VERY big) that can accommodate it. You’ll read mixed reviews about having redundant units vs a single unit with both …

Cheers
Jaan
