If you don't get answer directly, use google: " Singapore divers Forum ". you will find an answer that redirct you to this Forum: somewhere there's a list of Singapore divers to whom you could send Private message or mails.

Silkair flies direct from Singapore to Medan. Zippsy has shown you the website.
Another way is:
Ferry from Singapore to Batam, then catch an internal flight to Medan. I am not sure how much. Look for LionAir, Wings, Garuda...
You can catch a bus from Singapore to Klang or Penang. Then catch a ferry to Medan. This would be very cheap but takes a lot of time.
You can catch a bus to Johor Malaysia. Catch AirAsia to KL or Penang, flight or ferry to Medan.
From Singapore there is also a train service to Penang (butterworth) or KL.
