Hey,

I was going to teach a friend how to dive, and I wanted to avoid going thru a shop to make it cheap.

Does anyone know anywhere in December with an open pool or pool for rent that allows scuba? Or perhaps, any springs or parks around that "simulate" confined water that only charge admission?

I was going to call the Austin Parks pools, but I have a suspicion that they wouldn't allow any Scuba equipment to avoid liability even though an instructor would have facility liability coverage...

Thanks!
