...The search for mh370 off the western coast of Australia was the first time anyone had seen images of the sea floor. It's a huge cost and effort, we are talking about truly vast distances. They found underwater mountains over a mile high, trenches 1.5km deep and a volcano bigger than mt St. Helens. And that was just a tiny portion the size of the state of Victoria. They have better maps of Mars than the Indian ocean.
