I am thinking about a trip to the Gardens of the Queen in December. Does anyone have any updates on the conditions of the reefs and dive sites after Hurricane Irma?

Thanks!

Did you go? How'd you like it? I went in January and it was awesome!
For anyone still wondering, the southern side of the island didn't get hit. The reefs there are in great condition and full of life.

Yes, it was amazing. All in all, some of the best Caribbean diving I have done. The reefs were beautiful, but the main thing was that the big predatory fishes (large snappers, groupers, sharks) that are in very short supply elsewhere are extremely abundant, adding a new dimension to the reefs.
