I was just wondering if anyone logs their dives on a PC and if so, what programs do you use? Also, are there any good dive planning programs available and would anyone have recommend one?

Most of the dedicated dive log programs I've seen are for PDAs, in fact PADI just came out with one that looks identical to their paper logs. I think you can use the Suunto Dive Log Manager to log your non-Suunto dives by inputting the data yourself, but I'm not sure. You could also setup a dive log using Excel or Access, I know lots of people have done that.

You can download Suunto's dive manager program from their web site for free. It will allow you to manually input dives from non Suunto computers or down load them from Suunto computers if you have the interface. It also has a dive simulator program but it is based on Suunto's RGBM program as far as I know.(I believe it has both dive planner & simulator but don't recall off the top of my head). Additonally, it will allow you to print hard copies of all the information you input or download into the program and will graph the dive profiles downloaded from Suunto computers or otherwise recorded. With this program it is also possible to email logged dives to DAN and others. I don't know if it is compatible with a Palm pilot or not. The program actually has quite a few features in it that I found to be very interesting and useful such as searches, air consumption rates, gear bags, notes, and user defined categories among others.
