I use my Suunto Cobra Computer to dive with. When I get home, I upload the data to my PC and Suunto Dive Manager software. I have found that I like most of the features Suunto allows but there are some that I would like to see.

Does anyone have any ideas on a better computer log book that would allow transferring data from my Cobra to the PC?

I have only one prob w/ the software I wish you could select dive buddies the same way you can select gear, other than that what else are you not happy w/? I'd like to know if there is another program too to compare, but I wouldnt pay $$ for it cause like I said SDM works for me. Good Luck.

I think the only thing I am unhappy about is Suunto does not provide total underwater time which I have heard others do. I know that is not important but for couriosity reasons, I would like to know.

Also, I would like to see the availability of adding a photo to the dive.

Rakjar, if you want to find the total time underwater, go to

File -> Print -> Statistics

Then zoom in on the page (or print it). Presto! Total time.

dlegros,

Thank you, that was very helpful. Anymore good information regarding Suunto's dive log?

By the way, I have to wonder if they can come up with the total for statistics, why can't they just place it in the regular program...

The information is there, you just have to go after it. They always have to draw a line somewhere when writing programs. So far I have yet to find a program that offers everything I want at the places I want it. Yes Bill Gates, I said it.
