Anyone know of any free computer log books? Not one that requires a Diving Computer to use, one I can enter and use manually? I downloaded the Suunto one but it doesn't allow me to enter manual dives with depths, unless I'm using it wrong.

Suunto Dive manager will allow you to manually enter everything you need. I use this one, as well as an online log.

When you're editing the dive, click on the profile tab. In the upper left hand corner, there is a check box with the words "No Profile" beside it. Check this box, and it allows you to fill in the fields on that page . It won't graph the dive, but it pretty much does everything else.

Hope this helps.

I tried using the No Profile button, but when I enter a depth, it says something like 32.0 ft is not a valid depth.

Try entering it without the ".0" It only allows for 3 places. If you have a depth of "x.5", then round up.

Ya, tried that too, but I think I see what the problem is. Suunto has two different versions. Version 1.6 seems to be ok, but their new 2.1.5 seems to be giving strange results. I have it for FT in my settings, and when I go to enter a depth and enter just plain "10", it sets it to 32.8 Ft. So its almost like I have to enter it as Meters and then it changes to Ft after. But on the part below it where it asks for the Average Depth, if I enter "10" it enters 100 Ft.

I'll stick with the 1.6, seems to work ok. Thanks for the replies

DiveRecord is what I use online and you can download it to Excel for a back up.
