Complete Pioneer System

I ordered the Pioneer MC system from my LDS. I paid $555 for the entire setup, which is what is listed on almost all websites because I understand that Halcyon sets the prices directly. However, I didn't receive the 2 cam bands with my set-up and my LDS says they are an additional $40 a piece. Anyone have any experience with this? Am I getting screwed? Most websites have the explorer system (doubles wing) for $525 even though the wing is more expensive so I figure the only reason the pioneer system is more expensive is because it includes the cam bands. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It should come with the cam bands. They are not extra cost options.

Yeah man they come w/ it. Contact Halcyon info@halcyon.net and print out whatever they send you, show it to your LDS.

I just got my MC for the same price and got the 2 ss cam and the bolts.
and mind u i live in Egypt

yeah i paid about the same for my Pioneer and got the 2 cam bands, bolts etc too.. and im way in the far east; Singapore.. hmm something's odd abt what ur LDS said.. as advised earlier; dont pay the 40 bucks, go straight to Halycon's customer support..

Paid a bit less than you - I've been using the same shop for 10 years, so I get things pretty much at cost because I do most of my diving through them .

Definitely came with cam straps - someone's yanking your chain!

thanks all, had a little talk with the dive shop today and the cam straps are in the mail.
