I have bougt a Suunto Compas and the lubber line is moving when I turn the bezel. Is that normal, if not, how do I do if I want it to not move.

Lubber line should not move with the bezel - that is how you get a fix on your destination point.

Are you sure it is moving? Lubber lines are fixed on the compass face or glass and should not move. Return it for a new one if it really is moving.

Yes it is moving when I turn the bezel not all the times but sometimes.

Not to be silly - but you are holding the compass or it is on your wrist when you turn the bezel and the lubber line moves? If yes - return the compass for a new one.
The Lubber Line is inside the compass and can not move on my compass.

641954.jpgThe lubber line is also inside the compas on this one it is the hole glass that is moving... you can buy it without the Black holder so I suppose you should be able to put it Down so it does not turn...untitled.png

The bezel sits on a black plastic piece that slides over the compass module. The bezel should rotate easily, with click stops, on the black plastic piece. The black plastic piece grips the compass module, but it is just friction that holds it, plus any pressure from the holder into which the module (with the black plastic piece and its attached bezel) is placed. If the friction is too small, and the bezel is not rotating easily on the black plastic piece, then I could see how turning the bezel would also rotate the compass module.

I'd take the module and the black plastic piece and bezel out of the wrist holder you have, and make sure the bezel is actually rotating freely on the black plastic piece. You may need to clean/lubricate it. To get the compass out of the wrist holder, you can soak the whole think in warm water to soften/loosen it, and then pry it out. You may be able to push from the back, too.

As others have said the lubber line should not move and if it does something is wrong. Sounds like whole unit is turning in the case. Take it apart and have a look. If it's new take it back. Good luck.
