In searching this forum, I've found several threads on each of the above-mentioned BCD's. However, I didn't come across any that directly compared the two. I've seen and tried on the Black Diamond in my LDS, but haven't found anyone who carries the Recon yet. I plan to rent/borrow/try out both of these BCDs before I buy, if at all possible. I'm just looking for some direct comparisons if anyone out there has used both. Things like fit, adjustability, stability, weight systems, location of pockets and d-rings, etc. Any input is appreciated.
I just KNOW that lots of people are going to chime in with "Go BP/W or go home" or something to that effect, so I'd also appreciate a few links where I can learn more about the possibility of going with a BP/W.
