Hello all,

I am looking for a compact and very powerful flashlight for scuba diving and camping. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Most "powerful flashlights for scuba diving" are too hot for extended out of water use so you may have to do with a less powerful UW light or go with two. A great smaller but bright UW light is the Ikelite PCa. It is brighter than their larger PC light. BTW, I melted the lens on a PC light when it inadvertently turned on in my bag. They have since added a safety lock to the switch so that can be prevented.

The Ikelite PCm LED makes a very good flashlight on the surface, and is adequate as a backup light for diving. It's a 4 AA light with a very broad beam, but is not as bright as some of the newer lights, but it's pretty robust and has a nice switch and shape.
