Communication question

I am looking at different wireless communication systems for ffm. My question may seem a bit simple but I can't seem to find a direct answer. Are all (or most) wireless ffm communication systems compatible with each other? I will be diving with different groups soon and would like to know since the different groups will probably be using different brands. Thanks in advance.

you should just get ocean reef mecury system. get everyone use ocean reef netunp 3 . it's just the best and easiest to use.
