awap:Hotel Cozumel & Dive Paradise are good bang for the buck. The hotel is very good. Food left a bit to be desired but, did you go there to eat or to dive. Plan on going to town for a couple diners. I dove 5 days with DP in June and had 5 different dive masters on 4 different boats - all quite good. Its not "personal service" but at $23.00 a tank, you can't beat it. Best dive was Columbia deep, 10 minute SI, and offgas on Columbia shallows for 75 minutes (30 ft max).
Christi:I'm sorry, I have to comment here. A TEN minute surface interval after doing Coumbia Deep? Are you sure about that? I don't care what tables or computers you are using, you are not "off gassing" at 30 feet for 75 minutes...you are still loading up nitrogen.
I would think they would give you at least 1/2 hour out of the water.
awap:Yes, I am sure about it.
Well, I was sure but dug out the log book. It was 19 minutes. And the deep dive was somewhat short: 88 ft max for total od 34 minutes. Sorry.
