coming for a week

I finally have some time off to make it back to my favorite place in Canada. But I am hoping someone out there can help me out a bit. I am trying to help my friend get his OW or at least his pool and class by the time I get out there. He is currently looking at UBC for the best rate. I am also looking to add to my training and maybe mix it in with his OW class. We would also like to meet some local divers in Vancouver, where we will be for the weekend and first part of the week and in the Nanaimo/Toffino area mid week. I have my PADI AOW and around 50 dry dives in since last Nov., I dive a Hogarthian setup and usually dive with DIR guys but they’re all in Halifax on an expedition for awhile. I don’t make fun of anyone else’s way of doing things though.

I'm not sure when Jeff's getting back but if you look on http://www.mossmanscuba.com you can read about all the adventures and they have some great pics up too. Supposedly he is quite the support diver. But maybe he's just buying all the beer .

As for getting together, I'm not sure if we'll make it down to Victoria or not yet but we're still working on the sched so if it looks like it I'll try and catch ya. thanks Sean.

Naw, we bought him beer in appreciation for his work. Hindsight says we should've bought him more for the effort he put into it. Jeff's work as a support diver was invaluable and he saved a diver's ass more than once.

wish I had you out here in the West with me. We are having a riot. I went to Porteau on Sunday, Whytecliff today and tommorow then its off to the Island for some Barkley action.
