Comfort of travel plate vs a regular plate.

Hi all,

I need some advice from those who have use both a regular bp and a travel plate like the Oxycheq travel plate or the Mark Meadows plate.

Since, my shoulder blades actually rest on the backplate, I'm wondering what happens when the support area is cut away like in the case of the Travel plate of Oxycheq and Mark Meadows?

Is it as comfortable or less comfortable and if so, where is it uncomfortable?
