Hi all, I am new to this forum and was advised to join to seek help
with our club compressor. It is a Coltri-Sub MCH16/ET compact,
the PMV was leaking and I traced it to the O rings and replaced them.
The problem is I did not take the bottom cap pff the PMV and the guy
that did has no idea of what way the coned washers were fitted.
Has anyone got any ideas how they should be fitted ?
Any help appreciated.

Those washers should be alternated one up, one down, one up, one down and so on. this makes them function like a spring to load the poppet.

Thanks Ray, the PMV on our compressor is slightly different from the one shown.
Below part No 148 is a short bar with two O rings fitted and a pointy end that sits
into the dimple on the end of part No 149 apart from that it is the same and I guess
the washers go on as you have said. Should it be adjusted to about 100bar ?

Ah ... OK. Yours looks more like this one. The belleville washers still stack the same. And 100 bar should be a good setting.
