Thanks for all the advice, I do appreciate it. I have now located the user manual and am having a good read. I cannot see anything about the duty cycle and cool down of the compressor, but, don't think I will be redlining it anyways.
I did look at the filtertechs site but the postage is a bit crazy. We will see how we go re-packing first. Good idea with the indicator strip. Looks like you can buy indicator strips off ebay as well, so could be an option when re-packing.
@SurfLung I got dejavu when reading about you spilling oil onto your nice new clean compressor.
I will slow down on the purging and will only drop out the water. Should save sometime.
