I have been diving for 40 years. Recently I have received a Cochlear Implant, aka CI. Since my implant I have made 40 dives, max depth at or near 90ft. On my 1st dive with my CI I was startled by how load my bubbles were. The most important aspect of my CI is that I can hear the DiveMaster when I return to the boat. There are over 400,000 Cochlear implant recipiants worldwide, I would like to connect with other cochlear implanted divers or hearing challenged divers who might be thinking of having an implant to share experiences and tips.
