The Cobalt Coast Grand Cayman Resort has posted on Facebook that they had a group cancel during Easter Week so they are trying to fill some openings, see below.

They are offering a free Nitrox upgrade as a bonus. If you are interested but you are not yet Nitrox certified, ask if they will give you free Nitrox Certification instead - or some other bonus - because the Clearly Cayman Resorts have done that in the past.

Grand Cayman is a popular destination for divers with non-diving travel companions because there is a lot to see and do topside. Cobalt Coast is all-inclusive dive resort and it's "off the beaten path" but not very far from Seven Mile Beach.

It occurs to me that if you rent a car and take a package that offers "2 dives per day and 2 meals per day" then your day might go something like this: have breakfast together, you go diving in the morning while your companion relaxes by the pool, and then you both head out in the car to have lunch and explore. You could head back to the resort for dinner most nights and eat out a couple of nights - and it might also be possible for you to get in a few night dives on the house reef before going to bed.

It's just an idea, but Easter is an expensive time of year to travel to the Caribbean and many places are already booked well in advance. I have never stayed at CCGCR so I can't comment about accommodations or food, but we have visited the property and dived with their onsite Reef Divers op, and we thought that it was very nice.
