Depends... what're you using it for?
 
As stated above, depends on what you're using them for...
If you're doing any routing, the 3550 is pretty weak. If it's straight Layer 2, and you need VLAN, sflow, RMON, etc., forget the Cisco and take a look at the HP 2810. Cheaper, more functionality, and lifetime warranty...
 
dont stop at the HP then...might as well go after the Linksys..or even a Netgear.
Certainly... assuming you want a consumer product, as opposed to an enterprise class product...
