Anybody out there have a remedy for feet that are always freezing?

I'm tempted to bring back my portable heater to work, in secrecy, as the last time I had it here I melted my computer

HELP?

In winter, I always make sure to wear square-toes shoes/boots - because then I can stuff the extra space full of cotton balls :D

Also, get them a little big so you can double-sock, a thick one over a thin cotton type works best for me...

Now if I could just figure out how to type with socks on my hands!

remedy 1:-
come and live here in kwazulu natal. at 10am today the temp was 32 deg celcius and the humidity is unbearable. i went for as long drive in my airconditioned car just to be in some coolth. last week in pietermaritzburg it was 38,9 degrees. summer has just arrived and its already hot. oh yes we have excellent diving here too but i am too broke to go diving this weekend..

remedy 2:-
when you wake up, warm your feet by placing them on your husband/boyfriend/better halves kidney area. its bound to wake him up but imagine how warm your toes will be!

well, I just got back from a canoe trip on the Potomac, where it was raining 3/5 days, 20 degrees (fahrenheit) by night and 40 by day. I consider myself a bit of an athourity on this issue. :)

Buy a good pair of wool socks, and good boots. Also, when they get cold, stand up and shake your legs. Hardcore. Shake them hard. Get the blood flowing. Keeping warm is a PROACTIVE process.... you cannot sit there and wait for yourself to get warm. You gotta start moving. Do the hokey pokey. that'll work.

I too suffer from the cold feet and hands. I keep a warm drink to wrap my hands around (even though I'm usually drinking water). For the feet, I use the little chemical foot warmer paks from Eddie Bauer. :) They work really well and won't melt your computer AND your husband would be able to go to his own job.

oh, yes. Back at home home (Eilat) right now it is 29, no humidity... that's pretty tame... in May it hikes up to 42.

My first winter was GREAT (I mean I hadn't really been exposed to cold weather before... other than ski trips to Switzerland and Bulgaria). I was in heaven. It was cold, and this was new for me. A new, exhilarating world of cold. then same the second winter.....

uhhh baltimore winters are not too cold (about 25F or so, not like Canada or up north,) but rainy and miserable until December when things completely dry out. Then it gets down to 15-8 degrees F. then you have your Noreasters and your big snow storms. that goes into March, and April its just about 40 and the rain is colder, but amazingly not frozen. then summer comes along, and you could swear you're in Bangkok..... 87% humidity, 85 degres...

the title of this song is I know how you feel... it sucks.

uh....look into taking cayene pepper (if you can't handle the heat of the real stuff you can get cool cayene at the health food stores in a pill form). It increases the blood flow throughout your body and will increase the flow of blood to your limbs. Results are not instant but you will notice a difference over the course of a month or so (all natural remedies usually take a bit to work).

My mom had chronic problems with cold fingertips and feet and she swears by this.
