Most folks who have dived the tropics have probably observed the fast retraction reflex of Christmas tree worms. When swimming a tad too close to these retract very quickly. I filmed them at a high frame rate and slowed the footage down to make the retraction movement discernable to the human eye.

I also show the right settings for the TG6 to get such footage, and discuss a bit of worm biology.
