Christmas Travel Alternatives

Hi all,

Well, we finally heard back from the condos we were supposed to visit at Christmas on Grand Cayman (Grand View) and unfortunatley they will not be re-opening until sometime around April of 2005.

So, were looking for other locations. We're hoping to rent a condo or a home as there will be six people including 5 divers of various skill levels (10 dives - 100 dives). One requirement, it must be a location that Delta flies to (as of now they will not refund our tickets but will allow us to change them to another destination).

Looking forward to hearing any suggestions you might have for us.

You could head on over to Cayman Brac and you wouldn't need to change your tickets.

I'll be heading there on Christmas Day on a group trip through the dive shop. We fly into Grand Cayman and pick up a connecting flight from there to Cayman Brac.

Well after a few days of frantically searching for new destination for our Christmas trip we are now headed to the Turks and Caicos, staying on Provo at the Alexandra.

You will like it, we stayed at the Alex. a few years ago. The beach is really nice, even nicer than 7mile beach on GC. There are less things to do on Provo compared to GC. We visited the conch farm and kayaked with Big Blue on an off diving day.
Now, :dazzler1: if you are going to dive you should check out Caicos Adventures. You'll get a wonderful boat ride each day and the diving is better than GC.
