Just got home from a long hitch and got to go through my orders. I'll have all the vintage knowledge I need now!

I also have a first gen Mk 5 to rebuild. This one had the turret C clip that i might need to change. It is in perfect condition though. Fun projects ahead.

I'm really looking forward to reading through these. I had heard about The Skin Divers Bible and The New Science books in the vintage forum. They were recommended for the techniques they taught. I had never heard of Dive. It came up as a recommendation in an Ebay search so I bought it. It looks to be a really neat book.

As I flipped through the bible and the new science books, they looked familiar. I think I checked them out of the library in 2nd or 3rd grade. I remember the pictures. It's neat to have them in my hands again.

When I get my DAAM rebuild finished I'll read up on the techniques and practice in a pool and then beach dives. I really want to walk into the water past a class wearing a double hose and no BC and just see the looks on the students faces. I can then dive vintage and laugh at all the new divers and their silly gear.:D
