Golden Reef Inn, along with Bonaire's own Chef Gibi will be hosting it's Second Annual Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day, December 25th at 6:00 PM.
We are planning to have a wonderful Christmas Dinner for ALL who will be staying on Bonaire during Christmas: It will be an all you can eat buffet of the following menu starting at 6:00 pm so you can enjoy your day diving!
Appetizer: Shrimp Cocktail and Piska Salu (a local Christmas tradition of local caught salted fish, shredded combined with spices)
Salad: Avocado Salad with homemade dressing
Main Course will feature:
Turkey with Stuffing and Gravy
Filet Mignon with Mushroom Sauce
Piska Papilotte (a wonderful local Christmas Dish, seasoned grilled fish with fresh veggies and sliced potatoes steamed in a pocket pouch on a grill
Baked Potatoes
Various Fresh Steamed Vegetables
Dinner Rolls
Desert:
Home made Antillean Fruit cake (not that stick block thing... more like an Italian style bread fruitcake, it is delicious
Lover's Ice Cream (Vanilla or Chocolate)
Home made Casia (a custard flan type of desert, yum!)
Coffee and Tea
A cash bar will be available with wine, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and rum punch. Also, glass of wine, a beer or soft drink will be included with the dinner.
The cost will be $25.00 per person, all you can eat. Children 11 and under are $12.50.
