I just don't log dives
You live in Coz everyday, how do you like it? Would you ever move back to the states? I wouldn't mind eventually buying a condo there but living there full time is probably different. What are your likes and dislikes about living there???

How often do you dive? Do you go to the beach eveyday or hardly ever?

Lastly, do you have a scooter or a car?

Not trying to be nosy just trying to get your perspective. TIA!!!

Living in paradise....is not as fun as visiting in paradise....you know she has got to love it....I am sure it has been an uphill battle to get a business started and keep it going in another country not to mention not as many conveniences as we have here.

(Christi: Which is your dive company. I want to put it on my list for when I'm next in Coz.)

As to living in paradise rather then just visiting. I suspect it looses some of its charm. I live in Marina Del Rey, California. When I told that to some people when I was in Florida on vacation, they told me they were jealous and that they really liked MDR for vacations. I told them I couldn't imagine why and that I didn't think there was anything interesting to do or anywhere particularly good to eat. They thought I had a screw loose. I suspect its like that to residents of Coz.

Try going to the forums of http://cozumelmycozumel.com , they have a whole section devoted to living on Coz. I think I'd tear my hair out after reading some of those threads. :14:

Awesome, awesome, AWESOME place to visit... I couldn't see myself living there full-time... now part-time, that's a whole other matter!!! :D

Christi's dive op is: Blue XT~Sea

sometimes wanting is better than having......if you eat chocolate cake everyday,,,eventually that cake doesn`t taste as good as the first few times.....been there done that....people that live at the beach, visit the mountains, and those in the mountains want to visit the beach.....see ya` under

I'm also obviously not Christi, but I think I can provide a little more information to add to what has already been written.

I know it isn't every day. Running a dive operation by yourself is pretty time consuming, especially if you take a very hands on approach as Christi does.

She used to have a scooter. :11: Now she has a really nice Chevy crew cab pickup.

I know that most of you won't agree with me, but if the only diving I got to do was in Cozumel, I would enjoy diving there a lot less. Part of my enjoyment of diving there is just because it is so different from my local diving. Variety is important to me and I like cold water diving just as much as warm water diving, but for different reasons. Too much of anything makes it loose it's specialness.
