I bought the Cressi Frog Plus package on Amazon for the whole family. We got certified this summer (Refresher for me). No complaints about the fins or snorkel. The Focus mask did press a bit on my forehead and I have since invested in a Hollis M1. I have dove several times with the Frog Plus fins both shallow and deep. I think they work fine.

Between those 2 I'd be inclined to go with whatever is most comfortable and the best fit with your boots.
