Does nayone have a map, list of dives within the bay. Considering using a pontoon boat out of Bennings MWR site on the Bay Side of Destin. Only they restrict use to within the bay.

Baycones are out there, there's also an area full of old appliances...

Like Bugman said, Baycones can be an an okay dive if the conditions are right. In the summer it can be interesting because of all the boat traffic. If possible go early and have a VERY visible dive flag for that location. Although it is not strictly tide dependant, if there is a large tide swing....the high tide can bring some better water in as far as the bay cones. The East Jetty would also be a great dive, but I suspect if they restrict boat usage to the bay, they will not consider the East Jetty to be in the bay. They probably want you to keep the boat on the north side of the Destin bridge. If they allow you to go in to the Destin Pass, then the East Jetty and Baycones would be a good start.

Are there any Sea Grass beds that are divable in the Bay?
