Chicago in October

Hi there.

Travelling from the UK to Chicago on business and will have a weekend free in October, when I would like to dive in Lake Michigan and see a couple of wrecks.

I'll be unable to take all my UK diving gear so would need to hire dry suit, tanks and fins at the very least.

Can someone recommend me a dive operator that could take care of the whole package (gear hire, boat charter)?

Or, alternatively, at least a boat charter service that would be operational at that time of year, plus a dive shop that might provide gear hire.

I'm happy RHIB or hardboat diving in cold water, most of my diving is in the UK year-round.

The Chicago dive season typically ends in October. Double Action is a good choice as they run both recreational and technical charters and can arrange to have the gear meet you at the boat. They are run by Dive Right in Scuba and have quite a large selection of rental gear.
