you can use a generic irda dongle with some work

I have not been able to find any cheap IrDA USB dongles for my customers for quite some time now. The only option is the official UWatec / ScubaPro dongle which is available in various places. It was always the most expensive one and is now the only one.

I found a cheap Polar IrDA for older Polar sports watches and it works like a charm. Got it off ebay a couple months ago.

found this: USB Infrarood-adapter (IrDA) but not tested.
I own a Galileo Sol and I use it with a generic dongle under Windows 11. If interested, please see my previous posting in Feb or March.
Works great both with SmartTrak and Subsurface.
