Im using the CHDK hack for my A640 and hainvg fun with it but one thing that is not working to my satisfaction is RAW conversion. I convert the .crw files to .dng and then have been processing with Capture 1 4.0 but I'm not really happy with the results. Too much noise.
Maybe I'm trying to push some bad images too far with big WB adjustments??? I don't know but there seem to be a fair number of you here using the hack so that is your workflow and how are thing turning out RAW conversion wise??
I use Capture One with good results on my Digital Rebel RAW files but I'm just not happy with it on the A640 hack ones.. I probably need to spend more time learning the finer points of the program as well..
Any help or comments appreciated.
