I'm starting with a disclaimer because even though this is dated 3/12, I'm doing this from Cabo San Lucas before I get on the Nautilus Under Sea and head to Socorro, and I've only got donations through 3/9. So if you've made a Challenge donation 3/10-12, I'll catch you on the next update. That being said . . .
We've got two Silver level donations of $500 each from Brad Crocker and Larry Thompson, both longtime supports of our Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber.
As we get ready to go down to Socorro, one thing that's weighs in the back of our minds while diving there is that the nearest chamber is over 200 miles away back in Cabo San Lucas. Socorro is not the place to have a dive accident that requires recompression.
And not that you should dive UN-safely in SoCal, but sometimes we don't realize how lucky we are to have a first-class facility like the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber standing at the ready for us should we falter. And to continue that constant presence requires your financial support.
