As we (think) we mentioned previously, once the event is actually over, we go through our numbers with a fine-toothed comb to make sure we got everything right. And there are always some last-minute post-event donations that come in, either through people signing up late for the Dutchman (which we leave open for a week or two post-event), late Challenge donations, or post-event t-shirt/merchandise purchases. Usually what happens is the final total increases by a couple of thousand over what we announced at the end of Chamber Evening. And that was the case this year as our final number is $124,587, which is an increase of $2,591.
We believe strongly in transparency for the event so here's a link (click on the image to the right) to the breakdown of the various income categories, as well as the total charges (catering, table/chair rentals, etc.) for Ch-Eve. This does not include other event expenses like Day/Eve/Dutchman t-shirts (roughly $10K), or shipping, office supplies, credit card charges, raffle ticket printing, etc. (perhaps another $4-5K). Please let us know if you have any questions.
