Can't speak to Punta Cana, but I do wear ear plugs. Any dive shop that sells them should have a template to measure your ear canal. And by all means, go to a dive shop to get them. They are not expensive and you should end up with the correct size the first time instead of having to order multiple times on-line by guessing what size you'll need. After that, you'll know your size and can order them from anywhere you please.

I didn't know there were sizes. I've bought 2 or 3 pair off the rack that fit OK.
