I've got a buddy of mine |-| that close to Open Water lessons, but I can't send him to my LDS because I'm in VA and he's in NJ. So, any suggestions? A shop in the Trenton, NJ area which'll send him into the world well-trained?

I just took a Nitrox class through The Scuba Connection which is just north of Princeton. I would highly recommend them. They've got a pretty nice web site that can give you info on class schedules, etc. www.tscscuba.com

Have him try this WEB site. It lists shops all over NJ. He can find the one that is closest to him.

New Jersey Scuba

Good Luck. I hope your friend does well.

Lang's Ski and Scuba is a large full-service dive shop in Trenton/Ewing, it's conveniently located, plus they do skis, too. Handy if you have multiple addictive personality disorder, as I do.
I patronized Lang's for years. They have a good dive staff.

I have been going to Hunterdon Scuba for the past year. I recommend them if you are in the area.
