Aggressor's reply to you made me smile. Simply suggesting to you the warmest 9 months of the year hardly helps you narrow down the options.

The official Hurricane season for Cayman is 1 June to 30 Nov - which takes care of 6 of the 9 months they are suggesting!!

LOB operators are all unhelpfully cagey about the best/less good times to travel. Which is understandable, but frustrating.

Its a bit time consuming, but a trawl through the Captain's logs for 2012 CAIV would give a good idea of how often they made the crossing last year.

I did CAIV in Sept 06. My first ever LOB and a great trip. Most of the postings for it on here are very favourable also.

Hope you have a great trip whenever you go.

Not sure if you are still looking for your answer, but we went in April of last year and did not get to make the crossing. Very disappointing.
