I am going to be taking a trip to Grand Cayman is late February/early March and I am looking to buy a new wet suit.

I have been diving for the last several years with a Henderson Microprene .5mm, but I typically dive in Jamaica in November when the water is really warm. Last July I took a trip to Aruba and was pretty cold in the suit. I have pretty much decided on the Henderson Thermoprene. Seems like a pretty good suit for the money.

Any suggestions as to whether I should go with a 3mm suit or 5mm suit??

Thanks for your help!

Ken

I have been diving in Cayman at that time of the year for about 15 years and I usually dive a .5mm ScubaPro steamsuit. I would think the 3mm would be just fine, but the 5mm might be too much. YMMV
