Cayman Brac to be Featured on Travel Channel's 'Expedition Unknown’ Wednesday, November 11th!
Tune in TONIGHT at 7pm/6c to learn more about our island’s most infamous tale of pirates’ booty. And get ready for an appearance by our Reef Diver's team in tonight's episode! We were there as lifelong treasure hunters and Brac locals explored remote caverns and searched the ocean floor for the lost treasure of the legendary pirate Blackbeard.

I finally got to see this episode of Expedition Unknown, it's available on-demand under the Travel Channel.

It's kind of silly and no way is it a serious search for lost pirate treasure, but it was fun to see Cayman Brac and glimpses of the airport, the island, the reefs, the Cayman Brac Reef Resort, and the Captain's Table restaurant.

The boat they use on the show is Little Sister from Reef Divers. First they are diving on Anchor Wall and then suddenly we see them at the Russian Frigate wreck.

The show also goes to North Carolina to dive on the Queen Anne's Revenge.

It's not a serious show but it was enjoyable to see some familiar places.

The Blackbeard's Gold episode of Expedition Unknown is playing on the Travel Channel again this month, see the link below. It is also available for on-demand viewing on Xfinity (Comcast), look for Season 2, Episode 3.

The segment about Brac is definitely not a genuine treasure hunt, but it is still fun to see some of the sights of the island on TV.
