Are the caves on Bonaire worth a visit?

What's the experience like, is it just walk in, look around, walk out, or is there more to it?

The cave snorkeling is unbelieveable. You want to get in touch with Hans at Outdoor Bonaire to set up a guided snorkel trip. Simply amazing....

Nice. Very cool. When you said cave snorkeling I was picturing snorkeling into a sea cave, then I checked out diversteve's link to understand what you meant.

Anybody know how long you will spend doing this? Is it a 1/2 day event an hour?

Are there a lot of these on Bonaire? I've only read little bits and pieces about them here and there. One I think was something about you had to go on somebodies private property and they would take you there, but I'm trying to get a grip on the extensiveness of the caves. Just a hole and a room or more?

What makes the caves so interesting? I'm still debating whether to tour them or the mangroves or both...
