Rainer:
I need to buy some cave line to reattach some bolt snaps with. Anyone know of a cheap source online? Thanks.
Here is a place where they have #24 at $17.99 for 850' and #36 at $14.00 for 550':

There may be a better place though, so I'm also interested in seeing other answers.

Of course you can always get the reallly cheap braided mason line at Home Depot, but it's a bit thinner.

Yea, "mason line" is generally #18 braided nylon. It works just fine for tying stuff, and it's pretty nice for mini spools too.

Memphis Net and Twine. Braided seine twine:

Cave: #24, wreck: #36.

Wow, $10.41 for ~720' of #24, and $9.36 for ~500' of #36. More than you'll likely ever use for under $20. Nice deal indeed! I may just have to get some. Hey, Christian, you want to pick up a spool or two with me, and we'll share S&H? Drop me an email. :)

Thanks for the tip, Roak!
