It is that time of year again. Join Ocean Explorers for the Catalina Exploration 2011 trip.
We will board the Catalina Express at Dana Point at 15:45 on August 4th and head over to Avalon. Once checked into the hotel we can get to know each other and go over the trip itinerary over a delicious dinner at the Lobster Trap. Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th will be spent diving off the 65-foot-long King Neptune dive boat on many off the pristine reefs and kelp forests Catalina has to offer. On Sunday the 7th you will have the choice of seeing many of the sites and attractions the island has to offer or joining me for some shore diving at Casino Point in the underwater park ecological reserve. We will then return on the Catalina Express at 14:00.
Included in the trip is round trip on the Catalina Express from Dana Point, 3 nights hotel stay at the Atwater Hotel only half a block from the beach (based on double occupancy), two days of boat diving and tank rental for shore diving.
