Hey everyone,

My girlfriend and I will be going on our first cruise/dive trip this March. We're doing the Progresso, Cozumel, Belize trip. We've decided that we might want to go with Seasportsbelize for Belize on March 10. However, they said that they need 2 more people in order to confirm at trip. So if anyone out there is doing the same trip, we would appreciate if yall would join us. When it comes to cost, going with Seasportsbelize is extremely cheaper compared to the $160 that Carnival is asking.

Let us know if anyone is interested.

Don't forget to post this on www.cruisecritic.com. There are 2 sections you might want to look at, the scuba section and then do a search thru the Roll Call section to see if you can find a roll call for your cruise date. If you find one, join it, if you don't find one, you should start your own.

Diveborg,

Booked the same cruise leaving May 15. Looked on your link. Couldnot find scuba nor Roll Call Sections.

I just go back from the same cruise your speaking of. I dove with SeaSports Belize and they were pretty cool. Linda and her husband are very nice and will have a lot of snacks for you guys. I dove with scubawithalison.com in Cozumel it was a great dive, we did a wall and drift dive. Keep checking back with Linda at Seasports Belize to see if she had others booked. This is what I did...If you go with either or both dive shops tell them Steve Stan said hello! The people that went with the ship excursion in Belize were not happy. When we were coming back from our day of diving they were on the tender coming back from shopping their dives were short and over long before ours! Just a note regarding getting off the ship in Belize-Belize is a tender port and you have to get an early tender so get to the lounge where you pick up your tender tickets about 40 minutes early and let the crew handing out the tickets that you have an excursion to get to. We had no problem and were early. The only problem was with Carnival as if you do not book the excursion from them you cannot get on the early tender for excursions, we did it the way above and had no problem. Carnival will not let SeaSports Belize drop you at the ship after the dive however, the other divers get dropped off at the gangway. Seasports Belize will drop you off where the tenders leave after the dive. Have fun and let me know how it went!
