I'm asking if anyone has a preference between the 2 liveaboards that do the Exuma Islands Aqua Cat or Explorer I. Aqua Cat cost a little more but seems to be a better boat. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks!

The Aqua Cat is a very nice boat and I have been on it a number of times and is the better boat! But what are you looking for? The diving can be iffy on about half the dives! The reefs are becoming alga ridden and not much to see! So it is fun and you will have a great time it is not the best diving in the Bahamas! So if your going strictly for the diving the Explorer may be better, but if the boat is the deciding factor go for the Cat!
Here are pictures from the Cat and there are a number of videos as well:Two Tanked Productions HD & SD Underwater Productions and video services

I was on the Caribbean explorer I last month. The boat is older but it is pretty well maintained. I brought my 2 sons and they loved it. The crew was great food was good and plentyful. It is a dive, dive, dive boat though. There are no sea kyaks, shore excursions are limited to a possible 1, Snorkel oportunitys are limited and dives tend to be in the 50 ft plus range. For the price its hard to beat if your interested in diving. If you enjoy the extras the Aqua Cat from what I understand is great.
