No personal experience with any of them though.

Yes, my husband and I both use X-shorts. The ones pictured in the E-bay auction are the new version, and they are very nice. They work well over wetsuits, and I use them over my Fusion, as well. The pockets are large and sturdy, have grommets to drain and grommets for tying in loops to clip your pocket contents into. As opposed to the original X-shorts, these are well sewn and durable. I think they are very good value for the money, especially considering that the cheapest individual pockets I've found are $30 each, and then you have to go through gluing them (and they always peel off at the corners).
