Hi, I have the Aqualung bungie-mount compass.

Unfortunately, I snapped it in with the lubber line askew. Now I can't rotate it in the mount or get it out. I don't want to just pry it out with a screwdriver as that seems like it will gouge it badly. How am I supposed to get the compass out?

Hot water? It seemed to work for me. I also used a screwdriver (padded) to push thru the hole in the back as I was pulling from the front.

Hm, water seems like it would make it slippery. I have been working on this thing for half an hour and what finally worked for me was prying it up from the back starting at the gap where the side-view lubber line is visible. Thanks for your suggestion!

i'm glad that worked. i was going to suggest a hammer.
