OK. I know the M3 series is for the V2 and the M4 series is for the V3....according to Canon. BUT I am also aware of some doing minor tweeks to get M2's into V2's. I want to get S2 into V3.
Has anyone tried to modify a V2 or V3 case for a Vixia HF S200. The S200 is slightly larger than the 200 and 300 series. May need V3...however, unsure of the controls being slightly different. zoom looks close, power iffy, start stop ok, but then there may be battery isssues as size matters with these puppies. I have seen people mod HF M200s into the V2 case (which canon say only fits M3 series). Anyone played with these combos.
