Canon WP-DC17 + SD 870IS

I have a Powershot SD 870IS with a WP-DC17 mount. I'm thinking of buying
an INON S-2000 Strobe.

Just wondering what kind of cable would i need to buy to make it work?

I was looking at the INON Optical D Cable SS Type L.


But i'm not sure if it would work.
