That is a decent/ fair price, if all is in very good condition. No real scratches on housing or camera. New, that went for around $575. Maybe try to offer 325-350$, if there are a few minor wear and tear issues. Good luck.

Thank you. I am going to check it out, maybe try to get the price down a little bit. He said he only took it snorkeling on one vacation, so if that is true, it should be in pretty good condition.......unless he dropped it in the sand or something. He is selling it because he already upgraded to the s95. Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it. :)

Glad you got it. Now you can be on the look out for a strobe set up. The Inon S2000 and sea@sea ys01 are two that are small and nice for that set up. Do a search for Canon housing maintenance, using the shortcut button to control the rear dial, etc. Think you'll like the system. Happy shooting.

yes, you got a good deal
You can resell the S90 for over $250 in Ebay and the housing for over $125, if you have the box, manual, cables and other goodies

I have no experience with the AF35 kit, but have 2 DS51 Ikelite strobes which work very well. Once you get into stobes, trays and arms, you begin to spend money, there is no way around it.
To give you an idea, I have 2 Ikelite strobe, 2 S&S YS110 strobes, one Inon D2000 (very nice) and I now have them up for sale with a Florida dealer.
I am replacing them with an Inon Z240 strobe and a Light&Motion Sola 1200 video light . I also am using an Intova LED focus lamp.
This may sound excessive, but light is a real limiting factor when attempting to get good shots, particularly of small critters such as cowrie shells or nudibranchs.
But yes, I have bought and do recommend Ikelite housings, trays and strobes.
