This is an excellent camera topside, and performs admirably underwater as well. The 3.2 meg resolution, while a little low by today's standards, is plenty to print 8x10, and the image quality is superb. The S30 allows full manual control. Just add a strobe for a great inexpensive rig.

Comes with charger, 2 batteries, and of course the Canon brand housing. Asking $250. Reasonable offers considered.

Sorry for the long delay in answering. I was out of town.

The batteries are Canon lithium rechargables. They are a pretty standard size for Canon point and shoots, so you can get replacements at any camera shop.

The memory is good old Compact Flash. I could even throw in a card if you are interested. I have several 512mb cards ... and that will handle many hundreds of pictures.

What does it take for batteries and memory?

The batteries are a Canon format. They are VERY expensive in store ($50-80, depending on brand), but there are some generic brands available on eBay. I've bought one on there over a year ago, and it's going strong (only about $15 including shipping).

PM me if you want the eBay seller's name to purchase one or more.

The S30 is a SOLID camera, and I would highly recommend it if 3megapixels is good enough for you. Just ask how many dead/hot pixels when buying an old digital camera.
